AeroFrohne is as a leading Texas based aerial imaging R&D, and technical visualization firm integrating Ai, LiDAR, and 360° photogrammetry, and 3DGS into turnkey deliverables. The company’s new services include Strail 360 Mapping, t-3DGS modeling, Google street view integration, and Google Earth integration. AeroFrohne was awarded multiple government contract agreements to serve public sectors across Texas.
The small family based business achieved a major milestone with its first vehicle mounted 360° mapping operation while tinkering with vehicle mounted 360 interactive augmented reality street capture at the Harbor Bridge 2.0, expanding from aerial imaging to large scale infrastructure capture and data processing. This year cemented AeroFrohne’s reputation for Ai assisted thermal and RGB inspections, automated geospatial analysis, and safety oriented remote sensing.
2023
AeroFrohne’s service scope broadened to include utility asset inspection, environmental mapping, and public sector GIS deliverables. Ai and 3D modeling became core differentiators as Derrick Frohne introduced workflows blending orthomosaics, LiDAR data, and photogrammetry to produce immersive, measurable 3D models.
2022
Operational focus shifted toward orthomosaic mapping, volumetric analysis, and 3D modeling. AeroFrohne refined its pipeline for rapid data processing and visualization laying the groundwork for aerial 2D ortho mapping in the oil fields of Texas and New Mexico

AeroFrohne was founded on August 1, 2020, by Derrick Frohne in Austin-Texas, an FAA certified UAV pilot and early advocate of drone based geospatial services. The company began by providing aerial photography, real estate visuals, and marketing content across Austin and central Texas region gaining a reputation for precision, creativity, and reliability.
