Hans4D Terms of Use

Agreement and license
These Hans4D Terms of Use are an agreement between you and AeroFrohne LLC, the developer of Hans4D. By using Hans4D, you accept these terms. AeroFrohne is responsible for the app and its content. You receive a nontransferable license to use Hans4D on Apple-branded devices you own or control, subject to Apple’s applicable usage rules, including permitted Family Sharing or volume-purchase access. Software ownership is not transferred.
Monthly subscription
An active Hans4D Monthly subscription is required for subscription features, except where AeroFrohne has separately authorized demonstration access. Demonstration access does not create an Apple subscription or purchase. The U.S. price is $9.99 per month; the purchase screen shows your local price and applicable terms before you subscribe. Apple handles payment through your Apple Account. Your subscription renews monthly unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in Apple Account subscription settings. Canceling renewal preserves access through the paid period, unless the purchase is refunded or revoked. Restore Purchases checks for an active entitlement. Ending access does not transfer ownership of your work to AeroFrohne or automatically delete saved projects. Export and back up files you need while access is active; uninstalling the app or losing a device can remove local data. Refund requests are handled through Apple, subject to applicable law.
Your scans and exports
You retain any rights you hold in your project information, photos, scans, measurements, and exported deliverables. AeroFrohne does not claim ownership of those materials. Within the rights you hold, you may use, modify, share, and commercially deliver your exports. The software’s licenses do not require your exported scans to be open source. You remain responsible for privacy, property access, copyright, and other third-party permissions. These terms do not grant rights in another person’s property or content.
Capture, measurements, and professional review
Scanning requires compatible LiDAR hardware and permissions. Dimensions are approximate; verify them on site before construction, valuation, design, or other decisions. Tracking, occlusion, lighting, reflective surfaces, and device performance can affect results. IFC and other exports represent the captured or entered model and its identified assumptions. Selecting a reviewed LOD 250 mode does not certify every element, establish survey accuracy, or reveal hidden construction. Qualified review and additional measurements may be needed for your intended use.
Publishing and privacy
Some sharing workflows upload reports and project content to AeroFrohne hosting and create a web link. Review the content and obtain any necessary consent before publishing. Anyone with the link may be able to view or copy it. Removing local data does not automatically remove a published report or copies held by recipients. Optional Hans4D accounts use email and password and do not synchronize scan files between devices. Deleting your account in the app removes reports linked to its verified account ownership and the account workspace on that iPhone. Older reports without account ownership remain separate; contact us with the report link if you need help removing them. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription. Address lookup and online publishing require internet access. Our Hans4D Privacy Policy explains data handling.
Acceptable use
Use Hans4D lawfully, respect others’ rights, and do not attack, overload, or bypass access controls for the app or hosting services. You represent that you are not in a U.S.-embargoed or U.S.-designated terrorist-supporting country and are not on a U.S. prohibited-party list. Comply with applicable third-party agreements and export restrictions. We may restrict unlawful or abusive use, subject to applicable consumer rights.
Support, warranties, and claims
AeroFrohne provides legally required support and handles app, consumer, privacy, regulatory, and product-liability claims, and the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of intellectual-property claims. Apple has no support obligation. For warranty failure, notify Apple for a purchase-price refund; other warranty obligations and related losses are AeroFrohne’s, as applicable law requires. Mandatory consumer rights and liabilities remain unaffected. No term excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
Apple and third-party software
Apple is not a party to this agreement. Apple and its subsidiaries are beneficiaries entitled to enforce it. Third-party software notices and licenses are available within Hans4D and govern their respective components. App Store purchase and account terms continue to apply.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be identified by an updated date and, where required, further notice or consent. Changes do not remove accrued rights.
