AeroFrohne is preparing its licensed land surveyor partner network in Zürich and Canton Zürich for cadastral, boundary, topographic, geomatics, GIS, site verification, and AEC documentation projects.

Role Description

This is a draft independent contractor based surveyor role for Zürich, Switzerland. The role may include boundary and cadastral coordination, topographic survey documentation, control support, site verification, GIS/CAD deliverables, and coordination with architects, engineers, BIM teams, and field capture teams.

Swiss compliance note: Work in Switzerland involving independent official cadastral surveying, certified extracts, mutation deeds, and other regulated cadastral deliverables must be performed by a person legally authorized under Swiss law. AeroFrohne will not ask a contractor to sign, certify, or submit official cadastral surveying documents unless the contractor has the required Swiss authority.

Responsibilities

  • Support surveying documentation and client deliverables aligned with Swiss project requirements.
  • Coordinate with AEC, BIM, GIS, drone, and 3D capture teams to validate site conditions and resolve constraints.
  • Support cadastral, boundary, topographic, control, site verification, and documentation workflows where legally permitted.
  • Maintain professional communication, schedule discipline, QA/QC, and secure document handling.
  • Do not sign, certify, or submit official cadastral surveying documents unless legally authorized in Switzerland.

Minimum Requirements for Zürich / Switzerland

  • For independent official cadastral surveying: Swiss federal patent as Ingenieur-Geometer/in and active listing in the federal Register of Licensed Land Surveyors.
  • For candidates pursuing the Swiss patent: recognized master degree from ETH, an accredited Swiss university, or an equivalent foreign university degree; adequate theoretical preparation; at least two years of full-time level-appropriate professional practice; successful federal state examination.
  • Bachelor degree clarification: a bachelor degree alone is not sufficient for the Swiss federal engineer-geometer patent route.
  • German language capability appropriate for Zürich client communication and Swiss official surveying documentation; additional Swiss national language capability is a plus.
  • Located in, or able to support projects in, Zürich and Canton Zürich.
  • Criminal background investigation required.
