Procurement FAQ
How can my agency purchase from AeroFrohne without a formal bid?
If your organization participates in a cooperative purchasing program (e.g., TIPS, 791 Coop, TexBuy, EPIC 6) or holds an eligible interlocal agreement, you can typically purchase under AeroFrohne’s awarded contract vehicle terms. Use the Request Quote button for the specific vehicle and we will provide documentation to support your procurement file.
What information should I include when requesting a quote?
Include the project location, scope (e.g., aerial mapping, LiDAR, photogrammetry, 3D rendering, technical media), schedule constraints, and the contract vehicle you intend to use. If you have a statement of work, site plan, or area-of-interest boundary, include those as well.
Do contract vehicles cover statewide or multi-region purchasing?
Many cooperative contracts support participating entities across Texas and, in some cases, beyond. Coverage and eligibility depend on the cooperative or issuing entity. If you tell us your organization and intended vehicle, we can confirm participation/eligibility and provide supporting references.
Can AeroFrohne support urgent or time sensitive work through these vehicles?
Yes. Several vehicles are designed to streamline procurement for urgent needs (including emergency/disaster related services). Provide the timeline and constraints in your request so we can recommend the fastest purchasing path.
