AeroFrohne is expanding its licensed land surveyor partner network in New Orleans, Louisiana to support hybrid field and documentation work across the New Orleans, LA market and nearby Louisiana project sites. Licensed surveyors in the New Orleans, LA market are invited to apply.
Role Description
This is an independent contractor Licensed Land Surveyor role for New Orleans, Louisiana, supporting AeroFrohne projects through a hybrid mix of New Orleans-area field coordination and remote documentation. Responsibilities include boundary and retracement survey support, ALTA/NSPS land title survey coordination, topographic survey documentation, platting support, site verification, and deliverables for commercial, residential, civic, campus-adjacent, and infrastructure-oriented projects in the New Orleans, LA market and nearby Louisiana sites. Strong communication, schedule discipline, quality control, and the ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and field capture teams are required. Active Louisiana licensure is required; multi-state licensure is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support New Orleans-area surveying documentation and client deliverables aligned with project requirements.
- Coordinate with AEC and field teams to validate site conditions, access constraints, boundaries, easements, and right-of-way considerations.
- Maintain schedule discipline, professional communication, and quality control for hybrid field and remote documentation workflows.
- Prepare or review boundary and retracement survey support materials.
- Support ALTA/NSPS land title survey coordination and due-diligence deliverables.
- Support topographic survey documentation for New Orleans, Louisiana and nearby Louisiana sites.
- Support platting, site verification, and record drawing coordination where applicable.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Surveyor credential in Louisiana.
- B.S in Geomatics.
- Located in or able to support projects in the New Orleans, LA market.
- Willing to support hybrid work that may include New Orleans-area field visits, remote documentation, and occasional travel for nationwide projects.
- Criminal background investigation required.
