AeroFrohne is expanding its licensed land surveyor partner network in Syracuse, New York to support hybrid field and documentation work across the Syracuse, NY market and nearby New York project sites. Licensed surveyors in the Syracuse, NY market are invited to apply.
Role Description
This is an independent contractor Licensed Land Surveyor role for Syracuse, New York, supporting AeroFrohne projects through a hybrid mix of Syracuse-area field coordination and remote documentation. Responsibilities include boundary and retracement survey support, ALTA/NSPS land title survey coordination, topographic survey documentation, platting support, site verification, and deliverables for commercial, residential, civic, campus-adjacent, and infrastructure-oriented projects in the Syracuse, NY market and nearby New York sites. Strong communication, schedule discipline, quality control, and the ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and field capture teams are required. Active New York licensure is required; multi-state licensure is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support Syracuse-area surveying documentation and client deliverables aligned with project requirements.
- Coordinate with AEC and field teams to validate site conditions, access constraints, boundaries, easements, and right-of-way considerations.
- Maintain schedule discipline, professional communication, and quality control for hybrid field and remote documentation workflows.
- Prepare or review boundary and retracement survey support materials.
- Support ALTA/NSPS land title survey coordination and due-diligence deliverables.
- Support topographic survey documentation for Syracuse, New York and nearby New York sites.
- Support platting, site verification, and record drawing coordination where applicable.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Surveyor credential in New York.
- B.S in Geomatics.
- Located in or able to support projects in the Syracuse, NY market.
- Willing to support hybrid work that may include Syracuse-area field visits, remote documentation, and occasional travel for nationwide projects.
- Criminal background investigation required.
