Role Description

Gilman is about 14 miles west of Watseka, Illinois, measured in a straight line. This Gilman contractor role involves coordinating property access, planning connected scan positions, checking capture coverage, and uploading complete digital twins through the Matterport app. Assignments, travel arrangements, and access windows are confirmed individually based on client requirements and your availability.

Gilman project area: Work is limited to authorized residential and commercial properties within the City of Gilman, Illinois. Military bases, correctional facilities, tribal reservations, and other restricted properties are excluded. Confirm the site address and property permission with AeroFrohne before each visit.

Compensation: Pay is project-based, with projects starting at $90 per project. Please see individual project details for more information, as scope and requirements vary for each project.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Gilman property access with clients and site managers before each scheduled visit.
  • Operate the Matterport Pro3 to capture high-fidelity 3D and LiDAR spatial data.
  • Check connected scan positions, room coverage, and capture completeness before leaving the property.
  • Add necessary metadata, tags, labels, and details within the scanned space.
  • Manage project files and upload the final digital twin to the Matterport cloud application.
  • Maintain attention to detail, timeline adherence, and professional communication.

Requirements

  • Own a Matterport Pro3.
  • Have practical Matterport Pro3 capture experience, including field capture and delivery of digital twins or LiDAR-based spatial data.
  • Sign an NDA.
  • Pass a criminal background investigation.
  • Provide accurate project availability.
  • Submit a resume URL and sample Matterport scan URL during application.
  • No formal degree is required.

This is project-based contractor work. Hours vary by assignment, property access, travel, and client timeline. Contractors provide accurate availability for each project.
