Role Description

This is an independent contractor role for a Matterport Pro3 owner operator technician supporting projects in Key Largo, Florida. The Pro3 capture technician will be responsible for creating high quality 3D digital property tours using Matterport Pro3 equipment, conducting site visits, and capturing accurate LiDAR spatial data. The role also involves managing, uploading data from the Matterport app. Attention to detail, adherence to project timelines, and effective communication with team members and clients are key components of day to day responsibilities.

Compensation: Pay is project-based, with projects starting at $90 per project. Please see individual project details for more information, as scope and requirements vary for each project.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with site managers and clients to schedule and prepare each location.
  • Operate the Matterport Pro3 to capture high-fidelity 3D and LiDAR spatial data.
  • Review captured data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Add necessary metadata, tags, labels, and details within the scanned space.
  • Manage project files and upload the final digital twin to the Matterport cloud application.
  • Maintain attention to detail, timeline adherence, and professional communication.

Requirements

  • Own a Matterport Pro3.
  • Have practical Matterport Pro3 capture experience, including field capture and delivery of digital twins or LiDAR-based spatial data.
  • Sign an NDA.
  • Pass a criminal background investigation.
  • Provide accurate project availability.
  • Submit a resume URL and sample Matterport scan URL during application.
  • No formal degree is required.

Schedule

This is project-based contractor work. Hours vary by assignment, property access, travel, and client timeline. Contractors provide accurate availability for each project.
