Role Description
This is an independent contractor role for a Matterport Pro3 owner-operator technician supporting projects in Lovington, New Mexico. The capture technician will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D digital property tours, conducting site visits, and capturing accurate LiDAR spatial data. Attention to detail, adherence to project timelines, and effective communication with team members and clients are key components of day-to-day responsibilities.
Day-to-Day Workflow
- Coordinating with stakeholders: Communicating with site managers and clients to schedule and prepare the location for scanning.
- Scanning the space: Operating the Matterport Pro3 to capture high-fidelity 3D and LiDAR spatial data.
- Editing the model: Reviewing the captured data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Adding details: Tagging and adding necessary metadata, labels, and details within the scanned space.
- Uploading to the cloud: Managing the project files and uploading the final digital twin to the Matterport cloud application.
Requirements
- Own a Matterport Pro3.
- Sign an NDA.
- Pass Criminal background investigation.

Compensation
- Rate: $90 per hour.
